La Bambouseraie
I wanted to visit this garden for more than 15 years - finally I could.
Bare with me, when following post has too many pictures but this park is hard to describe with words. I have never seen a park like "la Bambouseraie" - utterly beautiful.
My first thought was - well with baboo it's easy, it's such a nice plant - but after thinking about it I realized that quite the opposite is true. The very geometric and alway same shape of the bamboo plant makes it very difficult to make a bamboo garden. Also there is almost no color or season to play with.
I don't know who is responsible for the architecture of the park , Muriel Nègre, who runs the park since 1977 or the actual founder Eugène mazel. To me this is master class, the whole garden is a sensational play with shapes.
