Traveling the world: Ireland
Just give the boy with the irish name what he really needs: coleslaw, chips and fish in beer batter ;-) ( we don't really need the peas) - means de did like his lunch.

Last stop on our trip was the giara dei gesturi, this high plateau is home to sardinia's wild horses.
There's around 1500 wild horses living in the cork oak woods. Of course we had to try our luck. Shane was a very courageous boy and walked a lot, but no horses to be found. We decided to head home and since we still had to walk the long way back we started to sing all the nursery rhymes we knew. Just before we got back to our car, a mare with her foal crossed our path. We couldn't believe our luck and followed them into the forest where we found several other horses peacefully eating grass. I have to admit this was quite a magical moment.
We started our trip in greece. Because finn was in greece by then.
On the menu were:
Tzaziki, Moussaka, rice and lot's of black olives.
Conclusion: Tzaziki, well cucumbers are better without yoghurt he thinks, Moussaka, didn't help that I used the left overs from Kevin's tomato sauce ( which was spicy as hell ) but the rice and the olives can feed you too.
We are traveling around the world - culinary wise. For shane - pasta boy - it's a long long way. But since he likes to travel and see wild animals he agreed to come with us. But he's brave so far. As you can see we also try to provide alternatives to everyday football i.e painting and tinkering.
In vietnam we had for lunch:
Fresh spring rolls, peanut butter dip, fresh asian herbs and rice. Conclusion: Two bites of spring rolls, lots of thai basil and cilantro, he liked the dip but did not like to dip in... and he ate lot's of rice (as long as it comes with soy sauce) . The making of the spring rolls was popular though.
Reserveafricaine in Siegan is a really nice park. A very nice park. Nicely made at the border of the étang de siegan. Where all the birds breed and gather. With parks you can drive through and a nice part to walk through.
Shanes mingle-mangel by the way is a new category. Shane wants us to take pictures of several things. This is a family blog after all and shane should have a place for his favorite stuff here too.
Driving through africa in the car, my camera doesn't have a zoom - so these lions were really close as one can see.
